Arugula & avocado pesto

I saw this recipe on Giada at home on food network. She is my inspiration for Italian cooking. I followed the recipe, just few measurement difference, because I wanted it to be healthier.

2 – 3 cups baby arugula,
1 cup basil,
2 avocado,
3 cloves garlic,
1 lime,
1/8 cup sliced almonds,
1/4 cup olive oil,
1/4 cup Parmesan
Salt and pepper

Method:
Put all the ingredients in your food processor and form pesto.

I mixed it with shell whole wheat Barilla pasta and served it with my home grown grape tomatoes.

Serve.
